Freestyle video contest : all you have to know…

For the 4th edition of the European Funboard Expression, the organization & Open Ocean Media launch a cool “Freestyle video contest”.

From the 1st of July, freestyle freaks and video fans have a bit more than 3 months to produce their own videoclips and upload their movies on a private Vimeo account before October 15th.
During that time, the uploaded videos can only be viewed by a jury composed of Continentseven & Windsurfjournal staff, pro rider Flo Jung, local freestylers of Le Brusc, SFWO & BCB members, plus the professional video crew of “Pertusatofilms.com”.

Only 5 videos will be selected. The chosen clips will then be screened during the European Funboard Expression on a special evening (28th of October) where only the public’s vote will count. The winning video will be the most applaused ! It will be released online the day after the projection on our media partners websites, Continentseven.com and Windsurfjournal.com. The winner (the clip editor) will receive a brand new LOFTSAILS Wavescape sail while the 4 other producers will also be awarded by the other sponsors with cool prices !

HOW TO
1/ Upload your clip (3 to 5mn max) before October 15th on a private Vimeo account.
2/ Protect your clip with a password. To access the privacy settings of your video, click the ‘Settings’ button under your video on the video page, then click the ‘Privacy’ tab. You must select the option: « Only people with a password »
3/ Upload a trailer of your video (30 sec max) on the same Vimeo account, no password required
4/ Send your 2 links and the chosen password of your main clip to videocontest@efe-sixfours.com with the following infos in your email :
- Clip’s title
- Name of the rider(s)
- Spot & country
- Email & phone of the producer

RESULTS
October 28th in the evening during the EFE, at the “windsurfing movies night festival”.

Pour la 4^ème édition de l’ European Funboard Expression, l’organisation et Open Ocean Media lancent un grand concours de vidéos freestyle ouvert à tous.

A partir du 1^er juillet, les accros de freestyle et fans de vidéo auront 3 mois pour produire leur clip et télécharger leur production sur un compte privé Vimeo, avant le 1⁵ octobre. Pendant ce temps, les vidéos téléchargées pourront être uniquement visionnées par un jury composé du staff de Continentseven & Windsurfjournal, le pro rider Flo Jung, des freestylers du Brusc, des membres du club SFWO et BCB, ainsi que l’équipe vidéo professionnelle de « Pertusatofilms.com ».

Seulement 5 vidéos seront sélectionnées. Celles-ci seront ensuite projetées lors de la soirée du « Windsurf Movie Festival » pendant l’European Funboard Expression (le dimanche 28 octobre) où seul le vote du public comptera. La vidéo gagnante sera celle qui aura été la plus applaudie ! Elle sera mise en ligne dès le lendemain sur les sites de nos partenaires Continentseven.com et Windsurfjournal.com. Le vainqueur (le producteur du clip) repartira avec une voile Freestyle offerte par LOFTSAILS tandis que les 4 autres sélectionnés seront également récompensés par les différents partenaires du concours !

COMMENT PROCÉDER ?
1/ Téléchargez votre clip (3 à 5mn maximum) avant le 15 octobre sur un compte Vimeo
2/ Protégez votre vidéo avec un mot de passe. Pour accéder aux réglages privés de votre vidéo, cliquez sur le bouton « settings » sous votre vidéo sur la page de votre vidéo, puis cliquez sur « privacy ». Vous devez sélectionner l’option « Only people with a password »
3/ Téléchargez un « trailer » de votre clip (30 sec max) sur le même compte Viméo. Sans mot de passe cette fois-ci.
4/ Envoyez ensuite vos 2 liens avec le mot de passe choisi pour le clip principal à videocontest@efe-sixfours.com, avec dans votre email les infos suivantes :
- Titre de la vidéo
- Nom du (des) rider(s)
- Spot et pays
- Coordonnées email et téléphone du producteur

RÉSULTATS
Le dimanche 28 octobre au soir, lors de la “soirée de projection des films de windsurf”, pendant l’EFE.
